Noma Amaryllis Dougherty

WHITELAND, INDIANA Noma Amaryllis (Watts) Dougherty, 91, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus while surrounded by family at her home on Monday, March 6, 2023. Amaryllis was born on April 13, 1931, in Ambia, Indiana. She is the daughter of Jerome Watts and Florence Katherine (Goodpasture) Watts. On January 21, 1951, she married Joseph Dougherty in Greenwood, IN. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2013. She is lovingly remembered by four children, Ryllis (Tim) Blackwell of Trafalgar, Jerrel (Julia) Dougherty of Whiteland, Kathy (Harold) Floyd of Morgantown, and Joy (Mark) McClain of Whiteland, daughter-in-law, Renee Dougherty of Greenwood, as well as sixteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Dawn Jahn of Indianapolis, and Twanette (Earnest) Mathis of Columbus, IN.
